Tournament Format & Schedule

The Sin City Classic is organized into three all-gender divisions — Division 1, Division 2, Division 3 — plus a dedicated Women’s Division.

“All divisions are known for their fierce, but friendly competition encompassing all levels of play. Here everyone plays!— Hans Furtado Laursen

All group-stage matches will kick off on Saturday, January 17th, 2026. Teams will battle it out in round-robin style within their groups to determine who will be in pole position for the playoffs. The high-stakes action continues on Sunday, January 18th, 2026, with playoff matches culminating in the finals for each division.

Every match will be played at Big League Dreams, an indoor soccer facility in Las Vegas. The venue features glass walls for plenty of visibility and an attached snack bar so players and fans can grab refreshments between games. The indoor setting keeps the action going regardless of weather, making it a convenient and lively spot for the weekend.

Friday Friendlies: Warm-ups & All-Inclusive Kickaround

Before the full tournament begins, two warm-up matches are scheduled. At 11:00 AM, there will be a “Masters” game for Over‑35s — a chance for veteran players to get in a light warm-up and reconnect with old friends.

At 1:00 PM, a special match will be held in partnership with Kicking Out Transphobia (KOT) — a nonprofit that uses soccer to create inclusive spaces for transgender and gender-nonconforming athletes. (kickingouttransphobia.org)

KOT has grown from a small charity tournament in Philadelphia into a movement spanning multiple U.S. cities and Mexico, centered around inclusion and support for trans and nonbinary athletes. This friendly match promotes participation and visibility for LGBTQ+ athletes and allies.

The combination of the Masters game and the KOT match provides a festive and inclusive kickoff to the weekend of competition.
