Clubs

Ultimate Scoreboard allows organizations to create either traditional leagues or Clubs, depending on how they want to manage their players. While leagues focus on competition, Clubs are designed to keep players, teams, and operations organized outside of match play.

A Club acts as a central home for your players, making it easy to manage memberships, communication, and training, even when players participate in multiple leagues.

When creating a new organization in Ultimate Scoreboard, you can choose whether it will function as a League or a Club. Leagues are built for competitive play, including matches, standings, leaderboards, playoffs, and results tracking.

Clubs, on the other hand, focus on managing people rather than competition. They provide a shared space to organize players, teams, and schedules without requiring league play.

Clubs use the same familiar structure as leagues, including Seasons, Divisions, Teams, and Players. This keeps everything organized and allows clubs to mirror how their teams are structured on the field.

Once players are registered with a Club, their accounts are already set up in Ultimate Scoreboard. When those players participate in leagues hosted on the platform, they can be imported directly into the league without needing to register again.

This makes Clubs especially useful for organizations that run multiple leagues or seasons throughout the year and want to avoid repeated player onboarding.

Clubs can collect and track Club dues independently from league fees. This allows organizations to manage memberships, annual fees, or training costs in one place.

Club managers can easily see which members have paid and which still owe, helping keep finances organized without relying on external tools or spreadsheets.

Clubs include built-in tools for scheduling practices and training sessions. Practices can be created as one-time events or set to recur on a regular schedule.

Automated reminder emails can be sent to players ahead of time, helping improve attendance and reduce last minute confusion.

Practices can also be targeted to specific teams, allowing different groups within the same club to train separately while staying organized under one structure.

Clubs and leagues are designed to work together seamlessly in Ultimate Scoreboard. A club can serve as the long-term home for your players, while leagues handle competition, schedules, and results.

This separation makes it easier to manage growth, run multiple seasons, and keep player information consistent across every part of your organization.
