Ultimate Scoreboard includes a powerful live scorekeeping system that allows referees, umpires, and designated scorekeepers to record match events in real time. Using any mobile device, scorekeepers can enter goals, touchdowns, at bats, or any other sport specific events as they happen, ensuring accurate match data from start to finish.
During a match, the scorekeeper selects the appropriate event type and logs each moment directly into the live scorecard. Every entry updates the scorecard immediately, allowing teams and admins to follow the match as it unfolds. This approach removes the need for paper forms and eliminates the risk of lost or incomplete records.
Once all events have been entered and the match is over, the scorekeeper adds any final comments or notes before submitting the scorecard for review.
After submission, both team captains and league admins can review the full scorecard to verify accuracy. If changes need to be made, admins have the ability to edit or correct the match details before accepting the result. This ensures fairness and transparency for all teams.
Once the scorecard is accepted, the match becomes final and all relevant league data is updated automatically, including standings, league tables, group rankings, and any individual leaderboards.
Acceptance of a scorecard does more than finalize a match result. If the match is part of a playoff bracket, Ultimate Scoreboard automatically advances the winning team to the correct spot in the next round. This eliminates manual bracket editing and removes the possibility of errors.
All team and player statistics associated with the match are also applied immediately, keeping every leaderboard and table current with zero extra data entry required.
